We would encourage owners of stud dogs to consider storing sperm from their dog for future use and to help maintain the diversity of the breed.

Below is a list of sperm storage facilities to help owners to do this – if you are aware of any others please let Liz Ayrton our Breed Health Co-ordinator know.

This list is for information only and inclusion does not necessarily constitute any recommendation by the JBLC.

We would also be interested to hear from anyone who is prepared to help with handling stud dogs and the area of the country which they can cover. Any costs involved will be between the owner and handler. If you are prepared to act in this capacity please contact Liz Ayrton.
