Sunday, 29 June 2025 - Rivington Pike RambleDon’t worry – we aren’t planning on trekking up to the Pike but will instead be doing a gentler stroll through the woods and round the reservoir! Free parking is available at the Barn and Visitor Centre (BL6 7SB for sat nav) but it gets busy so leave plenty of time to find a space. Meet just beyond the Visitor Centre (towards Go Ape) at 11am ready for an 11:30 set-off. |

Sunday, 19 October 2025 - Arnside RambleMeet at the car park opposite the fish and chip shop at the end of the prom LA5 0HF. People can either park in that car park (is a bit “rough and ready”) or go to the other end of the prom where there are lots of parking spaces. We will confirm the timing of the ramble here once we have an idea of when the high tide is that day, but we will walk to the cafe where we can have refreshments and then wander back - the ramble is flat and not too long. |

Sunday, 16 November – Training morning & afternoon Christmas PartyAfter the success of the Christmas party last year, we have decided to expand to a full day. We are in the planning stages for the training morning but we will have the Christmas Party in the afternoon. You will be able to come to both or just one elements of the event. Sunday, 4 January 2026 – Formby RambleStart at 11.00 am (exact time TBC dependent on tides). Meet in the Main National Trust Car Park at L37 1LJ. This very popular ramble goes through Woods, sand dunes and on the beach. Bring a snack for the picnic table stop part way round! |
