I would like to thank SCBCC for supporting the Working Tests and for Shirley Hinchcliffe for organising the event. I would also like to thank Ann Trodd for helping to organise the test session. A big thank you to my excellent steward Vanessa Pooley and her husband. I enjoyed my day with the Beardies and especially loved watching fast pace in all the tests.
I started with two Senior Tests and was delighted that both passed – many congratulations.
Primary Test – 3 Entries 3 Passes
Sefton owned by Veronica Harrison - Pass 97/100
Sefton achieved full marks for recall, food refusal and tied stay. Marks on other exercises were lost for little bits of inattention. Well done.
Deric owned by Sarah Collins - Pass 96/100
Deric achieved full marks for examination and recall. Marks were lost for a tight lead at times and some movement in stays. Well done.
Onna owned by Veronica Harrison - Pass 99/100
Lovely test only losing 1 mark on heelwork. Well done!
Junior Test - 5 Entries 2 passes
Ava owned by Penny Green – Pass 92/100
Ava lost minor marks in all exercises except the stay. It was lovely to see a good retrieve in the Junior Test. Well done.
Sefton owned by Veronica Harrison - Pass 96/100
Sefton worked well again just losing marks for the occasional tight lead and 2 in the retrieve. Well done.
Intermediate Test - No Entries
Senior Test - 2 entries 2 passes
Casey owned by Ann Trodd - Pass 95/100Casey achieved full marks for the search square, long jump, hurdle, and stay. He just lost most marks in heelwork for inattention. It is always a pleasure to award a Senior Working Test pass so well done to you both.
Fifi owned by Veronica Harrison - Pass 90/100
This veteran but active, fit dog worked a very competent test. She gained full marks for examination, stay and search square. I enjoyed watching her work and congratulations to you both.
